Tomas Dyrbye
Tomas brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience, including four years as Managing Director of Maersk India. During his time in Mumbai, he expanded the organisation from 350 to over 1,000 employees, opened new offices, and developed strategic investments in ports, logistics, and container freight stations. He was a key driver behind Maersk’s first port investment in India and the establishment of one of the largest back-office centres in the country.
After India, Tomas continued as CEO and Regional CEO within Maersk in Northern Europe and Africa, later becoming Group Senior Vice President. He has led companies under both corporate and private equity ownership, including as CEO of Hansa Heavy Lift in Hamburg and C-LEANSHIP in Denmark. His board experience spans Europe, Africa, and Asia, and he has held prominent roles such as President of the EU-India Chamber of Commerce.
Tomas is recognised for his ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, building businesses that grow sustainably while navigating complex environments. His personal ties to India remain strong, with an active network across government, industry, and logistics.
Peter Schwensen
Peter is a commercial leader with deep knowledge of sales, business development, and recruitment in India. As CEO of FOSS India, he built up the subsidiary into a successful organisation with strong performance in both sales and service. He has worked extensively with Danish industrial companies, helping them transfer Nordic strengths into an Indian context.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Peter has held senior positions in international organisations where innovation, customer focus, and team building were central. His expertise lies in developing markets, creating trust with local partners, and establishing strong local teams that deliver results.
Peter is passionate about bridging cultural differences. He knows how to adapt strategies to Indian realities while maintaining Danish quality standards. His experience in recruitment and organisational growth makes him a valuable partner for companies that want to scale in India.
