At NextStopIndia, we believe that experience on the ground makes the difference. Our team combines decades of leadership in India with deep understanding of Danish industry. We are not theorists – we are doers who have lived, worked, and led organisations in India.
Tomas Dyrbye
Tomas brings more than 30 years of international leadership experience, including four years as Managing Director of Maersk India.
Tomas was a key driver behind A.P. Moller-Maersk’s first port investment in India and the establishment of one of the first shipping back-offices in the country.
He served as Vice President and President of the EU-India Chamber of Commerce.
After living in India, Tomas served as Regional CEO and Group Senior Vice President within Maersk. Continuing working also with Indian business including expanding the Safmarine brand into India. His ties to India remains strong, with an active network across government, industry, shipping and logistics.
Tomas recently led companies under corporate and private ownership, in shipping and the Maritime Industry. He participated as co-founder in three start-ups.
His board experience spans Europe, Africa, and Asia. He lives near Copenhagen.
Peter Schwensen
Peter has more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership, global sales, and business development.
At FOSS Analytics, he played a key role in building and scaling the Indian market. Through this work, he developed an understanding of India and was involved in multiple go-to-market strategies, diverse applications, and the establishment of strong local partnerships and management teams. With eight years of operational experience in India, Peter has gained solid expertise in adapting Danish strategies to Indian market realities.
Peter has held several international leadership roles. His seven years as an expatriate with ARLA in Argentina and Saudi Arabia included leading greenfield projects from initial establishment to fully operational businesses.
In recent years, Peter has been actively involved in the Danish SME and start-up ecosystem, holding various advisory, interim management, and board positions.
